Through emerald waters
Past the cliffs where seas gulls soar
Vast coral gardens
Stretch across the ocean floor.
The colored fish in every shade
Through coral archways peep
Then dart off through the evening kelp
To vanish in the deep.
While up above the crashing waves
Send salt spray flying high
As they smash against the sandstone cliffs
That stretch to meet the sky
And then, as day turns to night
And strong sea winds turn cold
The dying rays of the setting sun
Transform the waves to gold.
